Cosmetic Surgery Options for Cellulite Sufferers
Liposuction and endermology are surgery options for people with
cellulite. Since both options are considered as cosmetic surgery,
they are performed by a plastic surgeon. The procedure involves
suctioning fat from the body and thus preventing further cellulite
from forming at least temporarily. However these surgery options
are not long lasting and have to be repeated again. But not everyone
opts for these options to get rid of cellulite mainly because of
two reasons:
-
These surgeries cannot be performed on every woman because
of health risks especially if the patient is suffering from
any sort of heart related or blood pressure related diseases.
-
These procedures are very expensive for the first surgery as
well as the maintenance ones.
They need to be repeated quite a few times before the cellulite
affected area gets diminished.
For those people who are ready to deal with any of the above options
can opt for either liposuction or endermology.
For the fat that is closer to the muscle, Liposuction is used.
So it can be used for cellulite but since cellulite is found near
the skin's surface, liposuction will not be so effective. This option
is quite expensive and normally a day or two will be needed for
recovery. After some time, the need for a repeat liposuction will
arise making it a very high maintenance option.
Endermology is a surgery option to remove cellulite with the help
of massage and suction. Rollers are massaged onto the cellulite
area to loosen the fat from that body part and distribute it in
the surrounding areas. Once the rollers are finished, a small incision
is made and the fat is suctioned from the body. The Endermology
option is also quite expensive and after some time, the need for
a repeat surgery will arise making this also a very high maintenance
option.
Cosmetic surgery is not a very painless and comforting process,
since it can take days to get back to normal and there is also the
uncertainty of the surgical options getting rid of cellulite. And
even though the cellulite development is stalled temporarily, the
development will start again after some time resulting in further
visits to the cosmetic surgeon. A good surgeon will warn you of
the risks involved while discussing the benefits of these procedures.
Even though both the surgery options have different procedures,
they cannot stop cellulite from reappearing again. For sure they
are more effective in cases where there is more cellulite. Post
surgery, patients gain a great deal of self - confidence. It's important
to do a basic research on both options to see which one suits us
better and will really be effective. The monetary aspect also needs
to be kept in mind. But even though this is expensive, since none
of the other methods give such immediate effects, people prefer
surgery to get back into shape quickly and easily. However you must
remember that these are not permanent solutions but temporary ones
to keep yourself in shape.
